Rugby Winter Shelter

The Rugby Winter Shelter will be open shortly.  This is a Hope4 initiative in partnership with the National Housing Justice Coalition, the Revive network of Christian churches in the Borough and DHL Logistics at DIRFT, Crick. It will provide shelter for the night throughout the winter months for rough-sleepers and homeless people.  For details see below.

Details of the Winter Shelter

1st December 2011 to 31 March 2012       19.30 – 08.30 nightly 

If you would otherwise be sleeping rough or “sofa-surfing” or simply have nowhere to lay your head this Winter, please register at the Hope Centre (46 Church Street) to collect your Winter Shelter pass. This will entitle you to supper, a sleeping bag and mattress, and a breakfast  each night from the beginning of December to the end of March in these Church Halls: 

SUNDAYS: St John the Baptist Church, Hillmorton, Rogers Hall, Deerings Road, CV21 4EN 

MONDAYS:     St Marie's Roman Catholic Church, Dunchurch Road,      CV22 5EL 

TUESDAYS: St Andrew’s CE Church Hall , Church Street, CV21 3PT 

WEDNESDAYS: Rugby Baptist Church, John Lees Hall Regent Place CV21 2PJ. 

THURSDAYS: Harvest Fellowship Rugby (RCCG) 35-7 Albert Street, CV21 2SX 

FRIDAYS:  Rugby Salvation Army, Bennfield Road, West Leys CV21 2AS   

SATURDAYS : Rugby Methodist Centre, Russelsheim Way CV22 7TB
