  What is Hope4?
Hope4 is a local charity for helping homeless and badly-off people in Rugby. It runs the Hope Centre, Hope4U, the Winter Shelter, and supports the Rugby Foodbank.
  The Hope Centre

The Hope Centre is a day-centre for referred homeless guests, at the top floor of 46A Church St, Rugby, CV21 3PT.

Opening times:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 11am to 2pm
  • Saturday: 9am to 11am
  • Sunday: 1pm to 4pm

Note that it is not a Drop-in Centre. The Referral Procedure can be downloaded here

  Rugby Foodbank
Rugby Foodbank opened March 2012, in association with the Trussell Trust.

This project is seeded by the Trussell Trust and comes under the Hope4 charity, and gives the work of Hope4 a wider remit.

Hope4U is Hope4's 'Food Ministry' and provides free food and drinks three times a week at St. Andrew's Church, Rugby.

Appointment of a new second Support Worker for Hope4

Hope4 are pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Malone to be a second Support Worker. She will start on the 6th August, and we are looking forward to working with her and wish her well in her new job.

A new Hope Centre?

Hope4 are hoping to buy 8 Newbold Road to be a new and larger Hope Centre: a day-centre for homeless and badly-housed people. We have got planning permission, and are in the process of raising funds and completing the purchase.

Rugby's Winter Shelter: More Need than Beds

For weeks now the Winter Shelter has been having to turn away some guests. Similar increases in guest numbers are also being experienced at the Hope Centre. Hope4 is also experiencing increased demand for food both at Hope 4U in St Andrew's church and at the Rugby Food Bank.

Rugby's Winter Shelter is becoming a model for other towns

The way in which the Winter Shelter is being run successfully in Rugby is inspiring both Coventry and Nuneaton to run Winter Shelters of their own: with advice and encouragement from Hope4 in Rugby.
